Leah is an abstract landscape painter originally from Dublin but now lives in Connemara, Co. Galway. Ideas around climatic effects on the landscape are one facet to her large-scale paintings, whilst other more abstract concepts explore an emotive response to the landscape, suggesting a feeling, rather than depicting a particular scene. Her paintings are multi-layered, being as much about the medium and the process of painting, as well as her interpretation of the landscape.
